The Sheet Metal Occupational Health Institute Trust (SMOHIT) is dedicated to supporting the health and safety of workers in the sheet metal industry. Established in 1986, SMOHIT specializes in occupational health monitoring, safety training, and promoting overall worker well-being. The SMOHIT Member Assistance Program (MAP) is one of its key initiatives, providing resources to support members’ mental and physical health.
The Belonging and Excellence for All (BE4ALL) initiative, launched in December 2021, is a collaborative effort by SMART, SMACNA, and the International Training Institute (iTi).
